# Folders

> Keep your mobile workspace organized with folders for your chats and documents.

Stay productive on the go by organizing your AI interactions into folders. The mobile app provides a seamless way to manage your projects and files from anywhere.

## Why Use Folders?

Folders on mobile help you maintain a clean workspace by grouping related items together. Whether you're researching, planning, or organizing documents, folders keep everything in one place.

### Mobile Features

* **Project Workspaces**: Group chats and files by topic for easier navigation.
* **Document Management**: Upload photos or documents directly from your phone.
* **AI Context**: Chatting inside a folder gives the AI access to the files stored in that folder.
* **Quick Actions**: Easy upload and deletion of project assets.

## Managing Folders on Mobile

### Creating & Managing

1. Access the **Folders** tab from the main navigation.
2. Tap the **Create Folder** icon.
3. Give your folder a name and description.
4. You can **Edit** or **Delete** folders by tapping the options menu next to the folder name.

## Adding Content

### Organizing Conversations

Keep your chat list organized by moving conversations into specific folders.

1. Long-press a conversation or tap the menu icon.
2. Select **Move to Folder**.
3. Choose the target folder.

### Uploading Files

You can add documents and images to your folders directly from your mobile device.

1. Open your folder in the **Folders** tab.
2. Tap the **+** button (floating action button).
3. Choose to upload a **Document** or a **Photo** from your library.
4. All uploaded files are instantly available for the AI to reference.

**Supported File Formats:**

* **Images:** JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, SVG, BMP
* **Documents:** PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, ODT, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX
* **Code & Data:** MD, MARKDOWN, CSV, HTML, HTM, XHTML, TEX, LATEX, ADOC, ASCIIDOC

## Folder Context in Chat

When you are in a folder-based conversation:

1. The AI is automatically aware of the folder you are in.
2. When the AI uses the **Knowledge Base Search** tool, the application automatically scopes the search context to the current folder.
3. It can retrieve and analyze the specific files you've uploaded to that project.
